      Anyhow. I miss my M3 but I don't miss trying to sell one and deal with all the obsessive compulsive buyers these cars seem to attract. Most painful and frustrating experience ever.

      I don't know where you have been the last couple of years, but REALLY nice ones are now selling pretty regularly over $50k. Couple of years ago those same cars sold for $30k-ish. I don't study the fixer upper market, but with the top of the market behaving like that, I can only assume that the bottom has appreciated in similar fashion. So that $15k threshold is probably more like $20k. Just my opinion, there are obviously a range of factors that play in to each sale, but right now I would tend to hold out for top dollar.
