To the few harsh critics you are very fortunate. I wish ANYONE my family would have supported or encouraged my interests as a kid. As it turned out I work with extremely dysfunctional families for a living and I can say this young man is appreciative, a hard worker and lucky as well.

NOt sure if that was directed at me being one...but I love what she is doing. Any parent that is involved with their kids is amazing. My parents are the same way, but I would never in a million years expect them on r3vlimited.

That is sad for your mom if you would be embarrassed that she loves cars and was on R3V . . . or it says something about your family dynamic.
My kid and I love cars, driving fast, driving sideways, seeing what a cars full potential is ;) If I didn't teach him, no one would have, his father died when he was little.
Nah, he's not embarrassed, and I actually made him hook-up an account here on R3V this year.
He is a 19 year old man and I am 47 so we don't troll/spy/creep on each other's activities . . .sigpicComment

Most of the posters here don't, they are college aged boys playing with cars. I'd hedge my bets that it's about 70/30 young men/grown men with a 15pt. spread either way that allows some of us to occupy both circles of that Venn diagram.
It's too bad he didn't hold out a moment and initiate in a way that would have allowed him to maintain through that turn and not end up helping the city plow that mound. But, I'm sure you will teach him that. Any plans to become a professional drifter?Comment
