DONE! - reproduction early es/is spoiler mounting brackets!

The bigass one that comes on the early S cars, 86 325es and 87 325es/is. These things go enough into the dam that they look to be a part of it but they are the brackets. They seem to sheer off at the base whenever the dam touches anything. Id say those who buy from him should get 3 sets because (as far as I have seen) people must break these all the time.Originally posted by Ritalin KidWhat spoiler uses these brackets? I'm lost here..Im now E30less.

Sorry for the delay....
I have been working alot and some things came up (taking a break in what will be another all-nighter).
Situation: I already have some orders lined up and want to process those first. I HATE having people's money and the product not ready to go out the door right then. I will NOT disappear. Some quick answers: They have no BMW markings on them other than the "RT, CTR, and LT". I tried to smooth them out as best I could. The molds I made pick up every detail using the highest grade material available. Yes, they are a 2 part urethane resin. I can give you the resin specs if you want - the material is machineable and is in use for more heavy stuff than a urethane spoiler. They seem to be slightly less brittle/dense than the originals. Again, I copied these and made them from plastic so that when I hit something, the sacrificial bracket breaks as designed and will not punch through the spoiler like alumininum, steel, misc hardware crap will do. These are not indestructable! The simple side brackets have some marks on them from prior use (and from my repairs to them - holes were wallowed out), but are extremely close to the originals in terms of pliability, so they should flex to fit. Not absolutely perfect, but better than zip ties!
Instructions/procedure: If you want a set, email me at ejs999 (at) hotmail.com so I can come up with a rough number and when I'm ready to get them done, I'll email you to request a paypal payment [EDIT: If you want to send a MO (I dislike checks), no problem, just email me so that we can exchange info]. That way I'm not holding your money and you are not wondering if I'm out boozing on your dime. :) Time frame to get started on the next batch is looking like mid next week at the earliest. These have not been available for awhile, so a little time won't kill anybody. Plus I don't want to rush and not put out a good product. Money back guarantee - if you don't like them, I'll just keep them for when/if I break mine. I did this for myself first, but thought why not possibly recoup the costs (of several pristine eBay spoilers) of my obsessive/compulsive project AND help out those that are using half of Home Depot on the front of their cars! I have gained a ton of knowledge from these boards and am not some vendor, just an enthusiast like most here.
Thanks
Eric
edit: email is best way of contact - a post request here will not be as efficient in getting things done
And the guy that threatened me - don't email me for a set or have your friends do it for you. tough. make your own.Comment

Received my set two weeks ago, currently have them holding my IS dam onto the car. Very nice units, very rigid compared to the crappy OEM ones, and I even dropped one and nothing happened, dropped an OEM one after i took them off (all broken already) and it just broke into a thousand pieces.
Eric's brackets are great!!Comment
