I didn't know they came in a manual, looks like they might me coming around. till americans don't buy any and they stop making them.

H2's suck ass plain and simple. I could get up shit in my tacoma that would have a H2 spining it (2) wheels helplessly at the bottom. and I only have a rear locker. hummers are built for posers. Landcruisers are built for Africans/aussies.

I think that the tires you have are perfrct for what you want to do with it. they are quiet and they are good on modderate terrain and in the wet. If you want to start taking it off road you would want to get something a bit more aggresive like BFG all terrains (but you wouldn't NEED to). I have BFG mud terrains on my tacoma and have been real happy with them.

I had a set of pirellis a while back, I liked them alot. I would buy another set if I needed "street tires" but I decided to buy a "car" instead. I've put 200K on my tacoma and I think its time she gave up her daily duty that plus the whole gas thing, and the fact that I bought a nice e30 for what I was going to dump into my truck.

Congrats on the Landcruiser PB, it's one of (if not THE) best 4x4s there are, both for reliability and rugged off-road use. They haven't outsold every other 4x4 in most GCC countries by mistake!

My family has a '95 Land Cruiser. That shit just will not break. And fuck Mercs. They try so hard to be a performance marque it makes me laugh. As soon as they want to compete with BMW, they ask AMG to either S/C it or to put a V8 in it (god forbid they engineer a 6 cyl to the point of god). Rarely a manual tranny. Fuck off. I have no respect for their street cars. Stick to what you obviously are and what you know (luxury old people Sunday cruising drivers). At least admit it. ;)

Ditto to the BFG A/T's on the LC. Either that or Bridgestone Revos. I just got new Revo's all around, those fuckers are amazing, everone i have talked to has nothing bad to say about Revos.

              cool new rides. deffinately unique.

there is 1 think im finding common, and its fucking hilarious. people in cali (no offense to anybody) get the 'rainy season'. i would imagine its wet...really wet all the time. i just have recently noticed that on other forums, cali residents are buying cars like wrx's and suvs because they are 4wd/awd. people dont actually put their trucks in 4wd in the rain do they? that would be hilarious. i dont know, it has just come to my attention lately. as far as im concerned, there is 0 reason to own a 4wd if you live any further south than ohio.... unless ofcourse you like offroading. pulling a 2k lb trailer in a snowstorm is the tits. then again, i am an offroad nut at heart. but just out of curiosity.

oh, i didnt know they made the C32 in a manual. thats my only gripe with mbz. their lack of 'fun' trans's.

I am in L.A. now but live in Mexico. Is 700 miles SOUTH of Laredo,Texas far enough for you? The roads are atrocious and it rains 24/7 for two months in summer making the roads very muddy & slick indeed.

Cool, another cruiser owner. FZJ80s are AWESOME rigs. You want to trade axles? http://www.ih8mud.com is a great site for newer cruiser info if you haven't already been there.

                    chase

also, since you have a rig with e lockers, you gotta wheel it.

Painted the center caps while I wait for the new ones. Came out pretty good considering my remedial paint removal/primering/painting skills.

                      Thanks I am on ih8mud & Pirate4X4 .

Power mirror was broken, for 175.00 got a new one already body color!
Also today got the new grill logo and bumper end which also came painted!

The bumper end does not look so far off color wise in person.
