    100% electrical This same thing happened to me in my 24v swap, and my m20. Check all connections to the engine first and work your way backwards from there. Wires are a pain but you'll find it and it will be a cheap fix. oh also because of the fact your entire car re set (radio, clock, and all) check your battery connection too for corrosion or a loose bolt just in case.
