explain yoself foo. What exactly am I looking for here? Coupe? Sedan? Touring? Vert?
I have a 90' 325i vert. I just rebuilt the head, replaced old seals, scrubbed and cleaned everything, and then coated the manifolds and
valve cover, and a few other odds and ends in matte texture(also silver and black). all new (for the most part) hoses, intake noodle boot,
new exhaust studs and nuts and about 1 million other small bit pieces, clips, screws, bolts, nuts and connectors.
Everything that should work, does work. (besides the ac but who needs that when you live in New Jersey)

Nice! sounds like something I need to do to my M20!
I live in Cali but my car is from Rhode Island (yeah stupid being on the west coast and buying an East coast car I Know.) But how hard was it to replace the exhaust studs, I'm assuming yours were rusted just like mine are.
And I don't have ac or power steering, because Racecar! but I do wish I had AC some days...

with the top down i dont need AC ;)
but yeah that were pretty rusted but they were simple to install.
Very nice! But, if you are going for the "stealth look"...everything black, including the intake runners, I agree with others...I'd get rid of the yellow battery cable and go with a black cable and even a black battery, like a Bosch! Then, your eyes will go to the ebgine which looks AWESOME, not the battery/wiring.

Nice job!
John
Thanks! The yellow battery cable is actually just some yellow plastic cable sleeve I had lying around. I tossed it on to cover my amp power lead for now and to tidy up the wires up top. I plan i getting black or an e30m3 wire cover in the near future.
As for the battery, I got an awesome deal on it along with a 3 year warranty from a local shop. That was my first time not buying Bosch.
