Custom Plates? Lets hear your thoughts...

I'm trying to decide if I should get custom plates since I'm going to need new plates for the E39 540i when I bring it up from Cali anyway. I'd like to hear your thoughts and opinions...

How many digits are you allowed there? We are limited to 6 in NZ, but we can have any alphanumeric combination we want within those 6 plus spaces are allowed.

The possibilities are endless except that I decided at the end of the day that you look like a bit of a wanker rocking a personalised plate - there's a reason they are called "vanity" plates.

We are also able to rock euro look-alike plates over here, so I just got my existing rego number made into a euro plate. It looks badass.
