    Purchase advice on a 1987 325i

    They are asking $375 for this car.

    black 2 dr good paint excellent body no dents moon run rear spoiler 5 spd good tires needs battery and ingnition key runs good.needs some small motor work must sell, as is.

    hi there is no battery and no ignition key, there is some minor motor work to be done i was told , the car i believe has 180,000? miles

                I would buy and then check my pockets and future expenses. Dependant on that I would either a. Buy the car and spend all summer restoring it OR b. buy the car and part it out on the forums, ebay, etc. For $375 you can't really go wrong unless it's in piss poor condition. Either way you'll get you're kizzle back in the end.

                    I don't think they made a US spec "i" coupe, prior to late 1988. Correct me if i am wrong.

                            The 1987 325iS.

                            For $375 you really can't go wrong, and I bet you you could talk them down on the price some too. If you can't fix it, you can easily make the money back parting it out.

                              I believe Jordan's car is an 87 US spec "i" coupe though you can't tell by looking at it now.
