                      I'm guilty of the old house paint and rollers trickery..

                      I had a 1977 Cadillac Coupe Deville de'Ellegance I primered up with rattle cans and painted it with exterior oil based high gloss enamel... Mtn. Dew Green.. and then I painted the cloth top with high gloss black enamel.
