Yes. That's the correct fluid for the manual gearbox.
This guy isn't an idiot. This is a very nicely kept example of a very cool car. E36's this clean are hard to come by now. He knows what he's selling and who he's selling it to.
A few years back when the economy went into the toilet, every 16 year old with a $5K bank loan bought themselves the cheapest thing with an M badge on it (US spec E36 M3). It's 2014 now, and the majority of these cars have been wrapped around trees by kids trying to Tokyo drift in the rain, or have been ruined from neglect. The market has come back up on clean ones, and they're plateauing around the $10-11K range for an average mile clean car.-Nick

I'm glad some people here respect the price. Your buying a pristine e36 m3 sedan in a rare color combo from and owner who obviously went through great lengths to keep this car in excellent conditions. We could use some more owners like this.

I think you guys who are calling this overpriced have never actually tried to buy a manual 4 sedan M3. The autos are fairly easy to come by and always silver for some reason. A manual one is not! They are almost always ratted out in one way or another. This one is even nice, well kept, and has a fairly rare interior color stateside. When I was in the market for an E36 M3 4 years ago I would have bought this up in a heart beat.Comment
