Nando, the cam would do little to nothing without an 'i' intake manifold and throttle body. Remember that the '88 325 intake manifold is even skinner than the 325e manifold. :!:

ok so by the looks of my engine bay I alreday got the i intake manifold, and you guys say that the 325 super has i heads on so what else do i need to finish the conversion.

because from looking at the photos of the i intake manifolds and seeing them in person mine looks exactly the same also so does the super come with I heads?

It has basically an i head on it but, it has the e cam, springs and doesn't have the journals that the i head does. So You need a cam, valve springs, and some light head work. The i computer so you can chip it and remove the super e limiter, and the throttlebody, but if you say you have the i manifold you would already have the TB. Lets see a pic of the intake just to make sure, because that would be kind of weird to just have the i intake manifold.

If you still have the same manifold as in your sig pic....it's not an 'i' manifold. See how skinny the runners are on your intake mani?

Clutch, a stock replacement will do fine. If you are seriously tracking the car or doing a lot of WFO (ahem, WOT) shifting...you might want to get a Sachs Heavy Duty. 8)

so that sachs in the photo is better then the other one, because it looks like a nicer one yet it is cheaper

The sachs is a better choice because it's stock.

It does have the journals. No drilling necessary. Damn I need some cash. :)
