Thanks. Yeah, it's definitely not a bad looking car. I think if the front end was a bit less pronounced (less DB poke, cow plow farther back), and the rear had a lower hanging valance with an exhaust cutout, the car would look pretty awesome. Truth be told, I haven't even really looked under there to see how things mount, and what's possible. I'll probably need to get a set of Euro bumpers and just play around with things and see what's possible in terms of mounting.

As for early model valence and euro valence with euros I do not know why you cant.
I believe there is a gap, yes.

Late model valance with euro bumpers (Bmwdayz). Best pic I have of it.

This is what he said about fitting that valance:

"Euro bumpers with late model valance only works if you drill out the spot welds and cut about and inch and a half off the middle and weld it back together. Then there won't be a gap. I couldn't find a clean/not rusted euro valance so I made the late model valance work. I think the late model valance looks the best anyways!"

He's right, it does look good. This is definitely something on the brain. Front euro bumper with late model valance. Rear euro bumper with late model valance (has to be welded in). Though i'd really like to retain the early cow plow look, but with the pieces protruding less. We'll see.

    Euro valance, for comparison (BlackSpeed66):

    Thanks!

Vogtland springs (still on stock shocks). And, correct, they're 205/50's. My fenders are completely stock, and it can easily fit more tire if I wanted, especially in the rear. Just for kicks, I threw a 15mm spacer on in the rear, and it fit. If the car is dumped, it would rub, but i'd never get that much movement with my springs.

Anyways, it was too much poke, so i'm running without any spacers. But I may throw a smaller spacer in the rear; 8mm or 10mm.

That's a later(85+) world market valance. Personally I think the earlier one looks better.

        That's because it looks stupid.

Swap those out. Car looks so much better with bumpers that actually work with the lines!

        Looks like a great start.

I vote to keep it unmolested, get some euroweaves or 14 inch weaves and call it a day.

This car has cleaned up nicely! I'm digging the wheels as well. Still a fan of the diving boards, but here's another picture of euro bumpers on a late model valance (there's still a bit of a gap so it doesn't look "right"):
