hmmm I'd rather drive over an iS lip and re-attach it than mangle a "precious" mtech II valence... 8)

I just can't understand how so many of you guys tear them off. In the Vegas area with the flood control issues and maybe some parts of California with there drainage ditches. But how fast do you drive around residential neighborhoods?

My German car is 60 mm in front and 40 in the rear and I don't tear anything off. I am going to a 60/60 here in the US but it might be too low I am unsure. When I get them installed and my spring project done I will have boatloads of pics to post until then nothing.

..my guess is broken clips and lack of parking skills? The first and only time I drove over mine was backing out a driveway too fast. I thought I had scraped it only to find out it was hanging low and eventually came off resulting in me driving over it.

Most people here have some very low front ends too...don't even let me get started on those Reiger lips...

I don't get it either. I've only lightly nudged a curb once while parking my car. while my car isn't as low as most of your slammed cars, it's lower than a stock height E30 and those are always missing the lip. I haven't knocked it off once in the last year. It is pretty pitted up from all the sand and gravel though.. grrr.
