Looking at E30 with 5 speed swap

I'm considering buying a 1992 325IC that was "Recently converted to 5 speed using all BMW parts." Should I be concerned about the swap? What questions should I ask?
    Any help is appreciated.

    What clutch kit?
    New giubo?
    New center support bearing(csb)?
    New master & slave?
    Miles on tranny & driveshaft?
    Who did the swap?
    Clutch switch installed?

    Miles driven since swap?

5 speed swaps are common and straight forward. Just make sure it drives well and do all the other e30 prepurchase checks. Good luck!

Also depending on where you live you may be able to get one of the more experienced r3vvers to go with you for some pizza & beer.

        Ask:
        1. Who did it? Was it him or a shop? If the latter, what's the shop's reputation? For the former, it could easily be done just as well, but it's up to you to decide what kind of experience and potential quality of work he's done (maybe look at his other cars, if he has any, any history if he's had some on r3v or other sites, etc.)
        2. Mileage
        3. Drive the damn thing, and keep your ears open
        4. which parts were brand new in the swap and if everything was oem

*edit: basically eveything CabbE30 said lol
*edit2: Also take a look if you can at the wiring work to see if it's been half-assed or not
