Are you talking about the tape deck? You can only, and I mean ONLY get that from a BMW dealership.

I got it from the dealer over the phone for free. Took 30 seconds.

Can you just give the dealer the vin number or do they need the serial from the back? Id like to get this done today.

They may ask for the vin, but you dont technically need it. I think they ask just to see if it matches the serial to see if you really have the car.

I wanted to get it done this weekend, but the service dept isnt open.
