Just bought an E30

I just bought an e30 from a fellow memeber here and friend of mine...Bimmerdawg. Decided it was time to pass on my E46 to the wife and get into this beauty!

This is the one...



I have yet to take any photos other than the one in my sig. I thought I should introduce myself to everyone.

From what I understand...Great Danes do not fit well in the back of an E30. So...he and his fiance' are getting something a little more 5-speed 528it - ish.

You going to put some matching rims on that beast? :)

Only 2 people know that...and I am neither of them!

Alright...my first "mods" have been completed. Nothing major...in fact...I would consider them more to be necessary adjustments.

1) In the ash tray, where one would snub out their cigarette if they were to be smoking in their car, I put a little black push button that is wired to my garage door opener...which is now nicely concealed inside my center console. Since I do not smoke, have a garage and hate having my garage door opener on my visor...this makes perfect sense. (Picture to follow at a later date)

2) Navigation system. In the form of a suction cup compass. Hehehe...ok...sorry...this is more for laughs.

That suction cup compass reminds me of my late uncle .... he always had this little suction cup compass in his car so "he would know which direction he was going" and wouldnt get lost. Or something like that. It was rather funny :)

I think that there are a few e30's for sale in the GA section of bimmerforums.com. Not sure of the detail on any of them though.
