Thanks, hoping it works out well. Sorry about using F*** in the title, I was very pissed off at the time. The damn left side of my neck now hurts when I move my neck.

Yeah man, i'd milk whatever you can out of them for injury $$$. If you leave it alone, has the potential to hurt later in your life.

Don't worry about it, I understand. But I'd advise you get your neck checked out, Trevor is right. If you let it go untreated, it could cause more problems later, and you'll kick yourself in the ass for not taking care of it when you had the chance.

get your neck checked out? lol unless he hit you going 25mph+ i bet your neck is fine. i've crashed into a guardrail at 70mph and flipped a car on its side with no neck injuries.

getting an lawyer right away may not be the best move. when you talk to his ins. (GEICO) admit NOTHING! answer in vauge open ended answers, the conversation WILL be recorded and they WILL use it against you if it goes to trial. a lawyer will take up to or arround 1/3 of the settlement and TV ones will almost never go to cort, they usually just settle before trial. try to work it out with their ins first, if it gets too frustrating, then get a lawyer, but rember that as soon as you say lawyer to the ins, they will imediately shut up and you are out of the loop. BTW even your own ins co. will tyr to fuck you. when my jetta was hit after screwing with their ins company and getting nowhere i turned it into mine (farmers) and proceeded to get screwed around again for a month. i lost my cool with the adjuster on the phone and told him that i was comming down at noon to get my fucking check from him and if he didn't have it for me i was going to put his teeth in the back of his throat (screaming this at him while at work, the whole parts department came back to see what was going on..funny). i am 6' 230lbs ex-skin, tatts, second job as a bouncer, you get the picture, when i showed up at their office there was a check waiting for me and the adjuster was at lunch (imagine that). i told my ins agent about it and he thought it was the funniest thing he had ever heard!

yes it worked that time, but threating violence doesn't always work in your favor, just got tired of getting jacked around and lost my cool. it does make for a good story though.

Heard from Geico today and they're repairing everything, the total should come out to around $2,400 in repairs. Replacing the fender, repairing the door, replacing a piece of trim, new tie rod, new lip, fixing a scuff on the wheel, and I think that' about it. It's going to take then 6 days to fix the car, so I'm stuck with this fucking Ford Taurus for something like 8 more days so like 11 total. (E36 needs a flex disc) So total cost to them including rental will be around $2,800-2,900. Lets hope the repairs go well, it's at Calliber Collison which does all of Autobahn BMW/Porsche/Jaguar body work and I'm told they're very good.
