Quick question about e36 compact vs fullsize

Was there a difference in the shocks and springs used between the ti compact and the rest of the 3 series line up (excluding the m3) for the e36? In terms of the strut, Real OEM lists different part numbers but I wanted to confirm that this was not just due to different models. Are the actual parts incompatible

fullsize e36 has e36 suspension front and rear, e36ti essentially has e36 front and e30 rear suspension.

Front struts will have the 318i/is part numbers due to the lighter engine.
The E36 325 parts will work, but 325 springs 'may' lift the nose some.
