    Anyone modified their clutch/brake pedals?

I have a size 16 foot/shoe and noticed in my brief experience driving my 85 that for me, the pedals are awfully close.

I have to take the assembly out anyway and I am pondering what would be required to move the brake pedal and clutch pedal about a half inch to the right.

I am waiting for any one of these responses: ,, , .

Some people "slot" the brake booster mounting location on m/s5X swaps for intake clearance and there isn't really any harm in doing so. A wildwood pedal set up is another option, but is expensive and I'm not 100% sure on the adjustability side to side...

That makes a lot of sense actually because the hardest time I have is with the brake/gas pedal area. Plus, the car I am doing this with has a bare engine bay already. I'd have to see how the rest of it lines up with the pedal box mounting points.

            If convenient, why not?

I think that they have thinner pedals and that could be an option too; cut off the right side of the pedals. That would effectively move stuff over.

Cut the pedal arm and reattach it further over. Might need to restructure/reinforce it a bit, but that shouldn't be a big deal.

This is how i would do it. Your idea would work fine too though.

I did the foot mod. Cut off my toes. Now I'm a size 11.

I did this. Worked fine. I am now an average 9.
Very good results and I never have to clip toenails ever again

Modify pedal assembly. Possibly easier than relocating anything, right?

Slotting the booster in swaps only clears it from the intake manifold. It doesn't move the brake pedal, since you are slotting the holes on the pedal box too.

I would cut off the brake pedal at the pivot point, move it over, and reweld it. Or, get an e38, you big Shaq, you.
