    F1 Australian Grand Prix

Speed's coverage starts at 10:30pm tonight EST.

I'm definetly excited about this starting grid.... Toyota finally made it into the Top 6, the Ferrari guys fell down badly, Jenson starting in first... and a Renault vs McLaren battle going on.

I'll be looking foward to Raikkonen's performance.

    Thoughts, opinions, predictions?

YEah, button will not finish like usual. Alonso will take 2nd to kimi Räikkönen and webber will take 4th, heinfeld will be 5th or 6th, and the other BMWsabur will catch on fire like the last two races so far haha
oh yea, ferrari is going to forget to take parts off their cars again like last night and cause more wreaks hahahahah

Ferrari is not themselves, it was shown by the issue Jparkr is referring to; left a cooling fan on the front wing. Too bad for me, im a Ferrari fan!

I hope Button can win, doubt it, but he has yet to win a race and looks to be on form this weekend.

      PS: Hope it rains!

When it comes down to Ferrari, I personally think that Schumacher had to leave when he's at the top of his game..... 6 years consecutively and then we had one year of dissapointment.... and Renault is giving Ferrari a hell of a challenge this year.

          IDE,

This guy should not be driving F1, there are a lot of other drivers that deserve a ride. In practice he went off 10 plus times. Qualifying he had offs and screwed barichello.

I will be at Indy and Monza and will where my no IDE shirt.

I whole-heartedly agree. This guy is barely fit enough to drive the pace car much less an F1 car. Super Aguri w/ Honda power wanted an all Japanese driver lineup....I know its all about the home country hero thing but there's got to be someone better than him. T. Sato is alright, he really suffered at BAR. With a better car he could be more competitive.

As for the rest of the race, with several cars getting cozy with the barriers I bet there will be some fresh F1 paraphernalia on eBay :-P The save of the day goes to JPM....he almost pulled an M. Schuey. And speaking of MS, he was in rare form today wrecking a car. Massa managed to bang up two cars in one weekend....nice going dude. Button's ka-blam-o approaching the checkered was one of the better F1 engine failures I've seen recently.

Agreed that Montoya had the best save of the day... such a shame to see it cost him the race though. Very happy with McLaren's performance.

Button was an exciting thing to watch.... although his performance is lacking.

I'd really want to see Raikkonen close in Alonso so we could see a nice first place battle though

I was impressed by Toyota. Ralf is a great driver but has always seemed to be on a team that is up and coming or having issues. It would be nice to see him Surpass his brother this year.

Still a lot of races left.

                    No IDE!!!
