    charcoal canister removal help

    I want to remove the charcoal canister on my car and i want to remove it safely. I know what it dose i just want it gone safely. I dont have to worry about emissions. So please dont say I wont pass smog. If youve done it let me know so I can get this stupid thing off my car.

    Why? You can just remove it and jump the connector I guess.

        am i missing something here? is it more difficult than just loosening the hose clamp that holds it in place, sliding it out, and then removing the bracket?!?

          No its that simple I just want to make sure it will be okay cause it dose deal with fuel vapors.
