E30 hit and run AT COSTCO!!

I never take my e30 out.
But I did today to run a 20 minute errand.

I park, run into Costco and return to seeing my e30 missing a body part that I had arrived with.

Some person must of backed up a little on the quick side, or simply not see my vert.

Precious db fell off to the ground.

I have a rear plastic bumper conversion...

BUT I have a front db with a IS valance and fogs.

Would it look weird having a front db with valance and rear plastic bumper?

Someone dented my 318 with a cart at Costco, she ain't too pretty but I was still pissed...

I think if you tucked the front bumper, and maybe painted it, it'd probably look okay with a rear plastic.

I think the bumper shocks have seen better days lol. If you look at the damage from inside the bumper, just looks more like holes that rusted out.

And I'm a UHU kinda guy

Sometimes dbs actually pop of on their own. the little bolt holes that attach the db to the shock corrode and the bumper breaks off, with the bolts still in the shock. this happened to me.

that sucks dude, but if it was me I'd see if i could trade that plastic for a diving board or at least just get another diving board. I like the way they look.

            Ohh good call trading...

I'm gonna see if my db is still useable but I doubt it

Have seen the bumpers corrode to nothing and pop right off as well. Could just washer up some new bolts to keep the DB in place for the moment...or hill billy the shit out of things with a 4x4

Also, relevant - this is currently on my buddy's Grand Wagoneer he just bought:

Your avatar pic should certainly be part of the mural.

The person that hit you did you a favor, now you have no choice but to do a plastic bumper conversion
