now somebody has to weigh one :p

it's way heavier than the non-arm rest back in any case.
    I'm really curious now, too.

Every once in a while a see an armrest rear seat in the junkyards. Definitely much less common than seat backs without. Its also much much heavier. I haven't lucked out on finding one worth picking up yet, always the wrong color or damaged/ripped.

I remember 42lbs for the seat back, but that was like 2003 when I weighed it, I think its around there

Thanks! We actually worked out how to get huge port area and a woofer in the skipass using a stupid-huge 10. I lived with that subwoofer for several years, did about 100,000 miles, loved it...but next time, I am doing a 10. Check it out here: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=322089

I have a leather one with arm/headrests and it's definitely heavy (at least when compared to a "regular" back seat).

I will most likely take it out since I built the car primarily for autox, and there is a harness bar back there which makes any kind of back seat fairly useless, much less one with a fold-down armrest you can't fold down and headrests that won't do anything but block rear vision.

rather the M3/vert type seats than the arm rest type..

unless you are nailing a bird in the back seat, where a flat surface would be better.
