Just had mine checked, leaking compressor, and both high and low side hoses. Crap, it gets hot in California in summer. Guess the $$ will have to get spent now. Damn

Unlike most E30s, It's a bizarre feeling knowing that I'm only a charge of R12 away from having super cold AC. The system was completely empty when I bought my car and I thought it would be too expensive to repair. Anyone else enjoying their AC? Hoping to get it up before the summer hear hits hard here in California.

Well my system is charged and running, it's nice and cold but my blower motor is pretty much toast so I only get a little but of air through the vents with the windows cracked down a tad. Much better than before just need a blower motor and it'll be great

its my daily, so unfortunately I need this in houston. really sucks having to wait for all the components. makes me miss the other e30 that had the best r12 ac system in the world.

But what about the massive increase in horsepower and pure driving feel?

I have a chipped Eta lol its all low end anyways. I could take other stuff out like my sub if I wanna go quick lol

I don't have AC and I don't care. I only used it maybe 1 week out of a whole year anyway.

I don't mind not having it the rest of the year either my heater melts your face off haha. I'd rather not cook alive in my car for a couple months though

I would have regretted pulling my whole system since I only needd a new drier and a belt to get to a sealed system

I'm hoping to use R12 to freeze my ass out of the car haha before I was thinking of deleting it for weight reduction
