    So I was talking to my brother and he said I could buy his 1987 toyota supra with a 7mgte and the I'm going to put his built 7mgte into the bmw I know ur all going to hate me for it. Lol 5 speed manual car has lots of upgrades.

    you have an almost 3000lb car, 170 hp (probably more like 140 now) and an automatic.. your expectations may be slightly high here...

    and if your looking up turbo parts on ebay, just stop now.. youll be swapping the engine next

    Ok so I was thinking there's a couple off ebay turbos has anyone done a build with one and how's the power difference. I would think that u would need oil lines and a oil coolant plus the the intercooler but would need to swap out the mass air flow sensor.

    ++1 for the chip, tho- and the 5- speed. Autos FEEL slug- like, even when they're not.

    89+ autos came with 4.10s if i recall. my 88 came with a 3.73. +1 on wheels. Im in the same boat my auto tranny took a dump need, going 5 speed end the headache with old auto trannys.

    Yeah the tranny on her right now came off a 87 and it feels a lot heavier than the original one. The rims are 14x6 there 4x114 I had to get .75in spacers to fit e'm so there a lil bit wider.

    A quick google shows that early auto 325i 's came with the 3.73.

    Oh, and on my cross-country trip last month, I averaged 26 MPG -- most of the driving was with the top down around 70-75 MPH.
