Thoughts on using bean bag booster seat as temp seat?

Well I bought two new front seats for my e30, so I took the two old ones out. I need to drive to get the two new seats though. (no room for 4 seats in the vert)
So I mocked up a temp seat to make the drive, its a plastic booster seat with a bean bag chair. It doesn't move or slide and is molded to the floor board.
The con would be no seat belt... (get in a accident then I am screwed, motor cycles don't have any though, maybe wear a helmet while driving?)

Heres what I put together to make it work out.

I think its not a big deal to do this but was curious what others might think? It seems safe far as something to sit on while operating the car.

Lol you say its safe but you never know you might get rear ended/get in a accident this one day that you decide to drive without a seat.

Gah, yeah I am gonna throw the driver seat in when I wake up... will just toss it in a dumpster or something if it won't fit with the new seats.

lol. +1 on being creative. I put some 2 e24 electric sport seats in the backseat of my vert. I 69 the seats and I had a passenger in the pass seat. so if you want tons of space, take out passenger seat and 69 them there on the floorboard. Trust me, you just have to be creative with space ;)
So to answer your question you should be fine, since ive done it before with slightly bulkier seats and just laying them in the back with the backseat also in & and my normal seats upfront.

You can fit an entire set of e30 seats into an e30 with the car already containing a full set. Use the sun roof if you're out of room.

I know it works because I've done it.

you can fold the front seats in half. you should be able to fit one in the trunk and one in the back seat.

              a bean bag chair? lol

also, you could unbolt your passenger seat, take it out of the car, and then use that spot to haul your two new seats. I did that once when I moved.

If you flip the seats upside down they'll fit fine in the back seat, done it several times.

                Don't try the beanbag thing...

How far are you driving? That sounds really dangerous if you have to hit the brakes hard.
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

He has a vert. He can carry 10 foot 2x12s in there without the passenger seat.

                          OP.
Take out the passenger seat. Replace it with the new seat upon pickup. Recline seat, and flatten out second seat and put on top of the first. And yes, wear your helmet over to the guy's house to pick up the new seats.
