    E30 boosterless brake setup options

    Finally had a chance to sit down and layout all the different E30 specific boosterless brake setup options currently available, as well as some history and facts.

    Only a couple of years ago boosterless brake (manual brakes) setups were considered impractical because the available designs offered by vendors were single master cylinder brackets that protruded the MC into the engine bay. The problem was that one master cylinder cannot provide leg pedal pressure that is soft enough for daily driving, or even

    Hmm. Nice.

    I measured stock pedal force on my 2/87 eta at less than 20 lbs for a normal hard,
    but not ABS, stop.
    I've always thought it was overboosted, but I was shocked to see it so low.
    The 11/94 E36 was effectively the same. For a similar stop, the 2002 took about 60.
    It's always been my benchmark for good, boosted brakes.

    Neither the 1968 Datsun 1600 nor 1965 Volvo 122 have boosters. And have higher
    pressures, and better feel.
