We don't attend anymore, but it is a very cool event with a rare level of crowd participation and access to the cars. Definitely worth a trip if you're within driving distance.

maybe ill attend this year if it doesn't land on the same weekend as bimmerfest again. I live pretty close to it and I've actually never been to it.

Skip bimmerfest and do the PVGP, its truly in a class of its own. Nothing else like it.

Why? It draws a very decent crowd much like Lime Rock and the Vintage? I would rather attend something like this than stereo noise and crowds that Bimmerfest have.

Like how Levent has listened and jumping on Lime Rock. Hope that turns into a great event.

Why don't we attend you mean? Our drivers feel the event has allowed too many newer and faster cars in, and the event has become too dangerous to be fun for them. Mind you, they aren't backmarkers - I'm pretty sure one of them still holds the lap record there. Also, we now head out to Elkhart Lake the same weekend for the huge event there. We will be at BeaverRun (or PIRC as it's now called) the weekend before this however. We will also be at the Fall Festival at Lime Rock, as we have been every year since I was 3 or 4.

I wish there were more events like the Fall Festival, PVGP, and Hawk at Road America that actually drew crowds; without people seeing and falling in love with the cars, there won't be anyone to continue appreciating and using them as the current crop of owners ages and disappears. It's really great to be able to share the cars with so many people and see them as excited about vintage racing as we are.

Not sure where you got this info or that graphic, but the Marquee for the year is MINI.

The PVGP is one of the nation's premier Motorsports Festivals with two weekends of racing and 10 days of events.

Nonetheless as many E30 people as possible should try to make it. It's a great event unlike any other!

Never been to a PVGP but it HAS to be better than Bimmerfest East.

                  Will go one day.

I am definitely interested in going this year. From what I remember bimmerfest is going to be in august like it was two years ago.

Do you why PVGP would honor the e30 this year?
Because thirty years ago, the BMW e30 went on sale.

How does this compare to the Vintage Festival at Watkin's Glen in the fall?

I may make the trip if it's worth it.
