    help needed, I'm not good mechanically.

    Just a quick question, and all good answers are appreciated,

    What advantages do you gain by putting an "I" head on a 325e? Also, besides the tac, does any thing else need to be changed, ie...ecu?

      A few minutes searching would have turned up all you need to know.

      The Cliff notes version is that just an "I" head will make the engine run worse. The complete conversion is to use an M20B25 head, intake, FPR, injectors, TB, AFM, engine harness, DME, and tachometer. And if the car has the 13 button DME an M20B25 coding plug.
      The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

          It's easier and possibly cheaper to just swap motors..
          Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

            It's done as an upgrade over the 'i' motor, so just swapping won't serve the same purpose.

              I think everyone so far for the info, I have not purchesed the car but am going to tomorrow. This is something that hope to do to the car in its future. I'll post a pic if I get it.
