    I dunno, I reset all the codes, drove it, then I only got the o2 one.

    Now I reset it again, took the guage off, drove it, no codes... very odd.

      Running lean at idle/part throttle/cruise is completely normal. It's done to improve gas milage. Also, going rich when you blip the throttle is also completely normal, it stops the engine from stumbling when you accelerate suddenly, just like the accelerator pump on a carburetor. Bouncing back and forth from rich to lean is also completely normal, as that's how a narrowband O2-managed FI system works.

      Basically, it sounds like your car is working exactly as it should. The fact that your car stops accelerating sounds like a fuel-cut rev limiter. Are you sure your tachometer is working properly?

        except for when I get up to 4k I cant acclerate. WOT it should run atleast stoich or richer instead of all the way lean

            My tach isnt correct, its off by 1,000 rpms ate 7k. But just listening to the rpms I know the engine isnt getting up that high to have the fuel shut off.

              its better now, I am still getting 0d and 24 codes thrown, but the gauge seems to be more accurate and the car feels better. But in higher rpms I can feel it slug down on me. I dont know why my o2 is throwing a code... must be a fuel pressure thing now.

                You probably wont be able to get rid of the speed signal code. Ive had it on my car ever since I swapped motronic 1.3. No one has been able to tell me its purpose, how to get rid of it, or if it has any ill effects. I would imagine its okay since I havent had any issues.

                  Yeah I dont know, the speedo works soo... good enough for me :)

                  My jetta throws a speed sensor code, the speedo is off on it too, when the speedo says your going 80 your really going 75. Maybe its not "dead" just off a bit?
