The po is an older lady, like 55, she likes it but it was difficult to discuss the power top, which did not work, with her because she was like Russian or something... that is not that big of a deal because I would rather convert to manual. The top was replaced five years ago, so that is a plus.
It is Calypso, but the entire car has been painted. The job is not that bad, but I am not sure about the paint's actual quality, taht and they painted over the black rubber peices and such. The just did not do an excellent job taping. There was minimal overspray though.
She has a reciept for $1500 where she had teh head gasket replaced and some other head work, something to do with the vavles she said... I think she may have been taken on that...
She wanted $3650, but she wanted me to take it right then. The auto shifted well, I drove it a little. The seats were about a 7.2 out of 10, the carpet was about 6.
The master cylinder had been replaced and the res was new. new coolant tank.
The engine sounds really tight, exhaust note is great... There is a tiny pop in the steering.
I think I would buy it for $2500, what do you think
Don't have the Benz any more so I need something within the next three weeks. There is a really good looking in caly, and an interesting one in New Hampshire (I fear rust)...
