Cribbing is one of the most frequently used and essential tools during rescue operations and is considered to be among the strongest means of support. Gravity is inescapable; thus, cribbing is used to transfer the weight of a load into a "footprint" and provide a simple temporary support during rescue operations.

Note, this is common in the firefighter field for supporting vehicles and lifting them, so I'm gonna say if they trust it...

I made something similar for making the exhaust on my iX. I figured since the car has crazy ground clearance anyway, why not use the tires. Two of them are ramps made from scrap 2X12's and 2x4's, and the other two are very similar to the OP, except 12x16x12" BxWxH.

Used something similar to pull engines out the bottom of f-bodies back in the days of working out of my home garage. I still use them to this day and just had an e30 up in the air the same way since all our shop lifts were taken up and we were pressed for time to get a parts car engine out in time for a race...
Not only are they plenty strong, I still have these very same ones and have been using them to support cars and drive-trains since they were made.

Wood is very strong under compression, and those look like they have a larger footprint than any jack stand I've seen. And they're on the tires, not a slippery frame rail.
7/10 would Jenga again.

I saw this somewhere else once... I'm thinking I might build some. I'm way too paranoid when it comes to jackstands and jacks and stuff.

Do you have any bigger pictures? I can barely see what you built.

also watch for deflection in the crib when letting the car down. As the suspension compresses the wheels will want to push the cribs outward. With a light vehicle you may not notice it as much but with a heavy vehicle with lots of suspension travel it coiuld be quite dangerous.
