    Garage padding materials?

I'm restoring my car and want to put something on garage walls to protect the paint if I ever brush against it.

The only thing I could find are 'plumber' pipe wraps (insulation) to wrap some of the corners around in.

Anything other than winter blankets on the wall?

The pink foundation insulation foam panels work well, except for the color.

Dnguyen1963 is on to something. Home dumpo sells large sheets of styrofoam that you can attach to the walls with either velcro or spray adhesive. They sell them in thin or thick panels.

What spray adhesive would I use to attach something like this to a brick wall?

Get the 3M spray adhesive. For brick, just load the spray up pretty good on each corner. Just make sure the adhesive that you purchase is good for Styrofoam. Some sprays will have chemicals that will melt Styrofoam.

The other option would be to anchor hooks at the top corners and hang the sheets. That way you can remove it easier when it get too beat up.

FYI, attaching rigid insulation to a wall is a code violation. Fire safety hazard as that stuff burns quick.

Why dot just get door bumper guards meant for this?
