    sell price advise please

i realized i dont get to drive my e30 and have decided to sell it, i could really use some help on the sell price though, please let me know what you think i should list it for, i'm not sure where the market is right now, i want to get rid of it quickly but dont 'have' to sell it. If i dont get a fair price i'll just hang onto it.

    1987 e30 325i
    74,xxx miles
    original paint in good condition
new leather interior (just replaced, 20 miles ago)
new side skirts (replaced last year)
new front and rear bumpers (replaced last year)
roof replaced approx 4 years ago
    all switches, lights etc work
    new shocks
    mtech steering wheel
    z3 shifter
    new floor mats
    pioneer h/u with ipod cable
dash has no cracks or scratches
all struts for boot, trunk lid and soft top cover are new
have not addressed the a/c, it does not blow cold

just spent $2100 having my mechanic go over it

condition is very good, there are a few marks, chips etc on the paint, not that many, very good for its age. Wheels could use a re-paint, that was next on the list of things to do.

About $10k+/- if you had time to sell it. $7-8k quick.

first off, it's not an mtechnic car. second, that paint is not original. it's an 87 325ic with fiberglass parts added on. while the interior is nice that fake body kit doesn't help the value. also 87 is a terrible year for an e30 and especially the vert. i think you may be hard pressed to get anything over 8k for the car. people that have 12k+ to spend want a clean, un-molested car, from a non-rust state.

Hence my logic of selling the 2nd P-Car and only having one vert. Definitely get more for the Porsche than the E30 and he can continue to modify it.

I think most people missed that it wasnt a real M-tech car
