Teardrop camper behind E30. Anyone done it?

I actually saw this exact Z3 and teardrop parked down by the Vancouver waterfront a few nights ago while catching Pokemon lol. Small world.

Everything you need to camp for weeks on end can fit in your trunk, including a queen size air mattress, 3 pillows, a sleeping bag and tent. Camp stove, 5gal clean water tank. Why even bother with a camper. Even with carrying a toolbox and jack to fix whatever you need to on the side of the road, thousands of miles from home. Even with all of your clothing (10 days worth), several pairs of shoes and rain gear. Even with a TON of stuff you really don't need, but brought anyways.
