Stay Cirrus its just such a good looking color. At first I was not sure about it when i bought my E30 but the more you own the car the more it grows on you.

unless you spend about 5k on a respray, a color change will never be as good as the original.
          +1 Cirrusblau.

And really, brown? For a car? Seriously?

The '70s were a crazy time...especially when they bled into the '80s.

P.S. If anyone was wondering, "Nerz" means mink and "Zobel" is sable.

^ Is that a BBS spoiler? No painted bit like an MT1...

Looks solid due to the angle of the spoiler in the picture, but it is an MT1 with painted center.

Trying to imagine what it would look like in Cirrusblau.

Would look good, though I would recommend painting the mirrors and rear spoiler a satin black.

Brown is a better colour than grey, even today's shiny grey, but given a choice between brown and just about anything else, I'll take anything else. Especially if the else is Cirrusblau.
                                Brown is a 70's colour.
70s refrigerators came in green and brown.
The 70's brought us disco and high heels for men.
Brown bad colour for cars. QED.
