The size. They're going to look like fan belts wrapped around your wheels. I would have gone with a little more meat, especially since the H&R sports aren't going to slam you.

That size seems to be the most common choice for 17" rims without having to roll fenders. All the searching I did said that was the size to go with, plus that size = the original diameter of the OEM tires, so my speedo will be correct.

That's the size I ran on my Kopis and that's the size I run currently. I think it's a good size, plenty wide, and lots of tires available.

Don't worry about Eurospeed, he only runs 225's cause they look cool.

That's funny, I don't have 225's, and never have. My new tires I'm ordering are 205/50, same as the tires that were on my last wheels.

My only point was that I would want something a little more than 40 series tires.

You don't want any taller on a 17" rim...

i am running 215/45s only because I got them for next to nothing, but I hate the size. The rub in multiple places.
My next tires will be 215/40-17 for sure.

yea... that's definately the best size to be running on a 17x7.5. nice little list. this update will make you love your car more than ever, amazing how suspension and wheels totally transform an e30.
