    First Porsche. It's neat.

As of last Wednesday I am the third owner of this 1984 Porsche 944. All original, all there, ~50K miles and growing as I drive her daily. The car is very clean, and I am very pleased with it. (5ickride inspired me to make this thread.)

    Current Car: 2011 BMW 135i, M-Sport, 6 speed

The the cleanest interior of a 944 I've ever seen.

I sold my first e30 and bought a 944na. Handled great with weltmeister springs. The porsche scene sucked balls though, I would pass other 944s and was never returned a wave or light flash. Snobs. Heres mine before I sold it

It seems like 944's typically get abused and beat. Great find. That thing is cleeean.

congrats on the purchase. I also considered one, but the performance of the NA cars are pretty close to an e30, so I just stuck with the e30.

What's the clutch condition on that bad boy?
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

Congrats, thar is one clean car. I have been wanting a 944 for some time but keep getting scared by the cost of parts.

Nice I love the 944, but the only way I would buy one is to put an ls motor, don't want another timing belt motor. Then I think If I am going to spend that much money on a porsche I might as well save for a clean 911/930. I also like the 968 and 951, S1/S2 (prefer S2)

Thanks everyone. I plan to do some suspension and wheels/tires and that's it. It's clean, it's not fast, but it handles like a dream and drives great. Next Porsche will be a 993 of some sort, just need to work my way up the corporate ladder a bit first haha.

Joe, congrats in getting the Porsche! looks very clean. I always wanted the 944 turbo and some years ago I kinda had the opportunity to get one but was sold later. Some time passed and came up my current first Porsche for sale and jumped on it and ran out of money very quick lol

That engine has the AFM stuff like our e30's? If so a MAF conversion might wake up that engine a little bit:o
