    help! rear brakes

so i am replacing my rear pads and rotors on my 87 325e, the caliper is off the pads are off, the allen head screw is out, the wheel stud are out. the rotor will not come off, i can grab and pull from where the caliper was but it seems to be hanging up on something towards the front of the car. is there something i'm missing? and the car has ABS i'm pretty sure, does that have something to do? please help, trying to do this tonight

    BFH + a big hit

make sure you leave one of the studs in a little so the rotor doesn't hit you in the face/anything else

i tried that but it really feels like there is a spring or something pulling back when i pull on it by hand, i can pull the one side out maybe a centimeter then it just spings back.

tap around the face of the rotor with a big rubber dead blow hammer, then whack it from behind a couple of times.

It feels like a spring because there is one. Make sure your parking brake is off, you are pulling against the parking brake shoes.
