Wow property where you live is expensive. I pay $695 for 2600 sq ft and 3 phase power. Look for business condos not stand alone buildings maybe you can get it cheaper?

If you really want this done, you need more research. Nobody is going to want to commit without real figures. We want to know what it will include and what it will cost, not a "yea somewhere in the range of $xxx-?x,xxx. We might have heat and a working door etc.
I know you don't really want to go around doing legwork, talking to potential properties if you don't have a few interested committed people but that is what it is going to take to get potential parties to become interested.
Also security and insurance cost and details will be important to people, who else is going to be in the shop, are they going to be housing a Lemons 318i or a TCKline Carbon Coupe?
I think there is enough people in the area and they will be willing to join your endeavor, but get the product and pricing before trying to sell.sigpicComment

Get this thing rolling. My friend drives for work, based in the bay but his range is Chico to Monterey. Need a place to store cars and parts before they get transported back down. Plus I have an F150 sitting out Merced Heights that needs a parking space.sigpicComment

I'd be down to do something like this in Chico. I actually work at a big design/machining/fabrication shop, so I have access to some badass equipment, but we definitely don't have room in our shop for cars.
Warehouse space around here is much cheaper than the Bay.Comment

Ok I can agree that they could get further apart. But it is pretty hard to get more expensive than the bay. I grew up in the EastBay and still have some stuff out there and it is out of control.sigpicComment

These are very valid points and i have though about it. I will get some more info and update the thread but in the meantime im going to need more commitment rather than people just talking about it. Thats the main reason why i haven't got all that info. I dont want to be that guy that calls a company just to stroke them with tons of questions and not have enough guys to actually follow through.. Its annoying for those companies and its annoying for me as well.
Either way I'll get the information everyone's looking for to help everyone get a better idea. Thanks for the suggestion.sigpicComment
