e30 AC Schnitzer; just a trim package?

OK quick version, I am a newbie. After thinking about what kind of car I wanted (boxy, RWD, Convertible, Decent gas, inexpensive, etc, etc. I found the e30. So I am trying to find "the right" e30. After looking around, I found an AC Schnitzer (maybe).
    What does this mean?
What's it worth in good shape?
Are the engine mods? if so, would It be impossible to find parts for?

    Post a pic...could be anything.

There's info on most of the parts here.
      I doubt it's a true ACS3 E30 you've found.

It was like it would be today. Can have the whole works... drivetrain ... or doll up the interior with a wheel and a dead pedal.

Chances are there it could be an ACS S3 Cabrio. Real small.

I saw one a couple of years ago, owner was some Danish advisor that had lived in Germany for many years. He had bought almost every special E30 he could find, Alpina, AC Schnitzer, Hartge and so on.
I looked excactly like this one...
          Same color and everything.

Chances that it's a true ACS S3....very small. But post a pic if you can.

This might post twice, cause of my phone.
But I'll be back by the car on Friday morning and get some pics.
So from what I can tell the car should have (besides trim):
              AC Schnitz:
wheels, steering wheel, strut bar(s), valve cover, logos (front, side, and rear), Suspension (how to identify?)
Any thing else I should get pics of?
Also: the car has some minor body damage, needs a re-spray, and the interior is repairable.
IF it is real, and IF I fixed it up clean, What it worth?
Also will I have to take it to a BMW specialist to check the tuning?
There is a pic below, what motor should it have? How do I tell a 2.5 from a 2.7?
I am so Freaking excited to look at it again.

Does it have ACS valve cover, ACS headers, ACS mono wiper and ACS extended fuel tank?
                Do you have pics?

We need far more details to give a value. Rusty?, all the parts there? etc.

There was a 1977 "Alpina" 630CSi on the east coast recently. It had Alpina wheels and steering wheel and perhaps the chrome mirror covers (specific to Alpina?). It was labeled as an Alpina for $1300. After I settled my heart flutter and caught my breath, the engine was nothing, no body kit, everything was wrong.

So not to say this is not an ACS S3 .. as there have been some great E30 M3s just laying in the woods type stories for dirt cheap recently... but the odds are slim.

                        Hope you win.

So I can buy parts from you.

And value? All determined by condition. There is a market out there.

This question is just about impossible to answer as there were so few of them made, and even fewer have changed hands in the last few years. The only way to know the true value of the car would be to list it in a highly publicized auction and wait for the bidding to complete.

                            Bummer, Just trim, Pics

OK so not a full ACS, hard to tell if the trim kit is original. The car has all original panels. I do like the car, the trim, and the color combo. but he wants A LOT for it for the condition it is in. $4300, But comes with a mechanic tune and new timing belt,
But it has some things going for it, like the rims and color combo.
all of the dents can come out paint-less except for one, and the interior is repairable, Wiring looks a disaster is It would be very easy to get 6 grand into this car. And you can buy a lot of car for $6K.
Any way tell me what you guys think.
