E30 sport seats suck. Way too hard and not bolstered enough to do any good. Not to mention they are HEAVY. Any Recaro of the same era will be way more comfortable.

This thread is like a bunch of really bad personal ads. In that spirit l, I'm 6'3" and 210 and I really like the sport seats. My into issue is not enough lumbar support compared to my e90. I saw somewhere a guy had put e90 non-sport seats in his e30. Seems like the best of both worlds although I'm sure those seats are even heavier.Thank god, R3V was getting boring since the ginger kid wrecked his car. - StoneaComment

Verts can't really show the best in E30's but glad you're on board. Usually everyone hates the confort seats. I have sports myself and love them, the driver seat is a little torn but I just love it to much to want to part.Comment

I can easily see getting a coupe someday. Right now I will have to enjoy the vert. It's a lot faster than my DD. An almost 3ton jeep 👍
