    hit a deer tonight

    Hey R3vers,

    so I hit a deer tonight :(
I've only had the car for a few months and I've only just started driving it a few weeks ago after returning from an internship in California and this happened...
Anyways, here's a link to some pictures I took.

The hood, drivers side fender, grill, and headlights are done for sure.
I think the front panel is bent beyond repair too.
I guess what I'm really asking, is if anyone has experience fixing this type of damage and I want to know how much work will be involved with fixing it. Can I just swap in new fenders, grill, light, and hood or does it seem like something I can't unbolt has been severely damaged?
The engine, and suspension is perfectly fine. Even the alignment is still good.

I'm guessing you'll have to hammer out that bit of damage on your rad support, otherwise, I'd say it'll be mostly bolting on new parts.

The damage looks easily fixable. Only the radiator support you will have to bend back and use some touch up pain but the rest is all bolt on replacement!

Almost picked one up myself last night. Full family in the E60. They are moving around quite a bit at the moment.

Sorry for the loss, at least it's fixable.

Thanks for yhe reassurance everyone. I was so worried that the frame was bent or something. I guess on the bright side I wanted to get euro lights and grill anyways and the front fenders are the only areas with rust on my car so those had to be replaced eventually anyways too.

might be able to get away with just installing a used, Hood, Fender and right light with the plastic frame around light. Then you will have to create your own mounts to fix the light if you dont want to go threw the extra work of replacing the rad support. Its hunting season so the dear are moving to area's where they think they could be safe, or find the waffleswaffleswaffles's.

I've had the same type of damage a while back. Purchased all the parts off the forum members for maybe 200 bucks. My hood wasn't that bad so I just bent it back a little. And hammered out the rad support, I still need to repaint the support though cause it is starting to get a little bit of surface rust.
