e30 couch

Anyone ever make a couch/recliner with old seats? I have a pacific blue bench and front seats (driver side is fucked though). Im looking to make a little couch with the bench and a chair with the passenger seat. Good idea or retarded?

the rear bench would look cool like a futon kind of business but the front seats are already kind of uncomfortable by today's standards though.

the rear bench has been done before. I made a office chair out of a '04 subaru 2.5rs, its okay, sometimes it feels good sometimes it doesn't. I REALLY want to make this but, insufficient funds :(

Fuck yeah. That m3 office chair is tits. and that black bench is how I want mine. Now that I look at it I wonder if I can use an old toy chest to mount it to.

I think it would be alittle hard to do an e30 couch. cause of how the rear is. Typical car couches are like this 57 that the trunk opens up it is literally like a couch can sit right in there.



To where an e30 opens is kind of like a cooler so to speak. If the tails wasn't so close you maybe able to getaway with something like this Mustang



or you can do like someone did with this 7 series

That's pure genius right there! All you need to do is get another fridge that fits in the end table, stock it full of beer... and you'd never have a reason to leave the garage!
