Bimmerdeej, for a first post, you are surprisingly good at following instructions. That's exactly what I'm looking for. Welcome to r3v and thanks!

I'll post mine up in a little bit. My computer setup is a bit inconvenient so I am lazy to transfer it and upload lol. It took just under 6 (somewhere around 5.8 ) seconds in 3rd gear for a 50-80mph pull. Stock motor, running a chip. I am running 185/70/16 Firestone winterforce tires as well.

              Hey guys,

Here's mine. Nothing exciting. 1986 325, Eta Engine. I do have my winter weight in the back, so probably a few ticks slower. No real modificiations to engine or drivetrain. Running on 14" wheels.

But you really see the difference between 3rd (6 seconds from 80 - 110 KM/H - actually this could be closer to 115, my speedo tends to be off at higher speeds - actual speed higher than gauge) and 4th (I probably hit 128 when the speedo was closer to 120, so I'd guess about 14 seconds). Measuring 80-110, there is about a 4 second difference (6 seconds in 3rd, 10 seconds in 4th). There is a guy on BF who has in his sig: And I shifted into third and nothing else mattered. Which is pretty much true.

In any case, here it is:

                    You're welcome!

I added a bit more analysis to my original post.

I probably shouldn't post a video because that would land me in jail in this country.

E30 318is with M20B27i swap and moderate levels of weight reduction. Car probably weighs 1,100kg/2425lb without driver.

10.2:1 bottom end, 731 head, 320i cam, 325i throttle body, #415 injectors and standard 172 ECU. Getrag 260, 3.73 medium case LSD, 205/55 on 15x8s.

                          5.4 seconds from 80km/h - 130km/h in third.

I tried to get a good 3rd gear 50-80mph video several times on my way to work today, but it spun every time. I'm guessing it's the cold weather and summer tires, because that normally doesn't happen. So that's why there's a jerk in the camera at 55mph, I had to do a bit of steering haha.
