I remember that there was a thread years ago, where we would sign up for just this type of occurrence. You needed to provide your zip code, so to not give out your exact address and you had a choice of adding your #.

Maybe it's been too long but, there was a map too, which pin pointed areas of members willing to help out.

There's already a map started somewhere on here from a year or two back. Don't much care to look for it on my phone, but it was started for the same reason
