Premium for Baurs?

    Premium for Baurs?

    I found a sweet Baur for $9k and that seemed quite steep for an 84 323i...even if it is a bit special.

    Do these really command such a premium or is the owner off his head?

      No they don't normally but some are in better shape than others...

              If its been in CA long enough with no rust and is in EXCELLENT shape...$9k is worth it but otherwise I would say that is too high.

                      Where in L.A. are you? There is a Baur sitting in a parking lot in North Hollywood. I tried to buy it but was never able to get ahold of the owner. It is mostly streight but has been sitting for quite a while and has been unappreciated.

                          there's one at Bakersfield Pick-A-Part.
                          everything is there minus Euro bumpers and front valance, (I have those) ;)

                              $9k is definitely steep! I wouldn't pay no more than $6k for one IMO.

                                  i think 9 is wqaaaaayyyyy to high
                                  i got mine for 3k and it had rims and a stereo, not to mention new paint job and new top plus a great service history. and mines an ETA :(
