Any opinions on where to get the best price for a Schrick performance cam (for M20)?

I found a site called Bluesteelperformance.com that sells them for $385. Anyone ever dealt with them?

Yes. No sense finding the best price, even if it is under $400 to buy something that is unneeded. Is he building a stroker, because when I was looking for cams, I found they are definately not worth it on a more or less stock 325i.

An aftermarket cam might not be right for you but, if he wants to put one in I say go for it. Good luck with you search man. $325 sounds like an unbeatable price!

First, Jordan, thanks. Your depth and knowledge of this stuff is simply scary. I'm surprised that your job isn't "Jordan's Garage"!

Ahhh, but thats half the fun, isn't it? The car only has intake, chip and exhaust so far. Idea is to upgrade the camshaft while I'm doing the timing belt/waterpump this summer. Also plan to do headers and up fuel pressure a smidge. Thought I'd see how that worked out, then toss in an MAF conversion next if it was being too choked on the intake. If I was looking for still more, it would be higher compression pistons, but I didn't want to do the bottom end if I could help it.
