M30 running d-jet injection, Epsilon wheels, bbs front/rear spoilers. That car has some goodies.

that looks like an m30 to me. m30b30? doesn't look rusty. i would say its easily restorable. if you like it, you should feel the owner out for a price. i bet that car is easily worth 3k.

So, i've seen this car when I drove by sometimes. And today I went and asked if I could take some pictures of it.

I'm trying to get the model straight. I know its an E12 520i, afaik those had the M20. The engine doesn't look like the M20 to me. Could this be the early M20(B20) look? Owner said it was turbo'd once and that it has race cams. Looks pretty rough. Dash is cracked, clear coat gone, almost all the rubber is disintegrated. It's been sitting like that for 20 years at least. From his story I could make out he brought it with him from europe, when he relocated to the bay area in the 80's. So it's an EU spec car.

Not sure I'f I'd want to bring it back from the dead, I like this car, not sure why. =)

Maybe someone knows more about this particular model, maybe its just a 520i that's been modded?
