I think they over-engineered this car.

Temp and dipstick should be visible without use of computers.

When did the BMW chop off the dip stick? I heard this but now am curious. Dont say 2005-06.....contemplating about an S54 down the road.

it still tells you if the car is overheating. it's not like it doesn't warn you.

temp gage would make no sense. The temp is programmed to run from 80c to 112c. That would be like if your M20 constantly ran from the 1/4 mark to the 3/4 mark.
